Life After You
Ten miles from town and I just broke down
Spittin' out smoke on the side of the road
I'm out here alone just trying to get home
To tell you I was wrong but you already know
Believe me I won't stop at nothing
To see you so I've started running
All that I'm after is a life full of laughter
As long as I'm laughing with you
I'm thinking that all that still matters is love ever after
'Cause I know there's no life after you
Last time we talked, the night that I walked
Burns like an iron in the back of my mind
I must've been high to say you and I
Weren't meant to be and just wasting my time
Oh, why did I ever doubt you?
You know I would die here without you
All that I'm after is a life full of laughter
As long as I'm laughing with you
I'm thinking that all that still matters is love ever after
'Cause I know there's no life after you
You and I, right or wrong, there's no other one
After this time I spent alone
It's hard to believe that a boy with sight could be so blind
Thinking about the better times, must've been outta my mind
So I'm running back to tell you
All that I'm after is a life full of laughter
Without you God knows what I'd do...

I'm out here alone just trying to get home
To tell you I was wrong but you already know
Believe me I won't stop at nothing

Monday blues
I s*cked so badly in training yesterday that if my floorball stick was a double barrel, I would have shot myself in the head to end my own embarrassment. Urghh. =( I did almost 150 push ups. For every shot missed - 20 push ups. And I think I did only 10 for some. So you do the math. SIGH.
But I know it's my own fault for missing training for the past one month. And being away for 2.5 years requires me to get used to Innebandy's tactics and speed AGAIN. Definitely different from my Sabah team.
So I feel like a jelly now after yesterday's physical session. I can't lift up my arms immediately, I have problem squatting down...I feel...rusted. I have no idea how I'm gonna handle tomorrow's state training. =(
Sorry people. I'm just having my usual Monday blues. Never knew what it truly meant until I started working 2 weeks ago. But guess what??
My mentor/senior worker gave me this and she made the rest of my day a little brighter. =)
Though pink's NOT really my color but..thank you Ms. Phang!!! =)
I'm gonna stop whining and go finish up my report now.
'Cause tomorrow's gonna be a better day.
I know it. & He promised. =)
And as I was talking to Uncle James after training yesterday, I felt so encouraged and appreciated when he gave me a thumbs up after I told him that I love my country and I wanted to stay in Malaysia. I know our country's politics are horrible. I know that our government system is far from satisfaction.
But I too know that God place me in Malaysia for a reason. I want to serve Him in this land; I want to serve and love the people He placed around me; and I want to make a difference here.
I have a purpose. I have a destiny. And I know it's all right here -
the land I call my country. =)

Oh ya!! Yours truly is currently working. Err..internship actually. =) Love what I'm doing. But hate the wake-up-early-not-enough-sleep-keep-repeating-the-same-procedures-horrible-smelling-food-lab part. X) Hehe.
New year, new start
I've been wanting to post this up for ages but whenever I finish writing the first sentence, I just delete the whole post.
My 2009 didn't end too well, neither did I start my year 2010 awesome-ly.
But I made decisions. Decisions I never knew I could make. It was heart-breaking but I know when I look back 5 years from now, I will not regret it. I did it for God. I did it for us.
Life's like a race. I didn't start my race for 2010 too well. But it's not about how you start your race, but how you run it, and most important of all...how you end it. =)
I know, believe and trust God for a great year ahead.
I'm not getting any younger as years goes by, and I definitely can feel the responsibilities and commitments on my shoulders duplicating.
But hey...it's just part of growing up. =) Of course I miss the times when I was still schooling. Let me list down a few things I did in school which I was "proud" of:
1. One of my teacher threw a piece of chalk at me and my best friend and my friend caught it. She walked up to the front and gave it back to her. It was a duster after that. X)
2. Was punished to stand at the corridor when I was in Form 5 with all the juniors looking. And I was waving happily to them! XP
3. I have a special seat in chemistry lab which is next to the teacher right in front, facing the whole class. Imagine that. Hahahahahaha!
4. I climbed up to the roof of the school to take a picture. -.-"
No. My results weren't sucky. I was pretty bright. Pretty only ha. =) And I excelled in sports, music, and everything else. But I didn't forget to have fun. I never regretted like some of my book-worm-friends, who studied so much and "neglected" fun. But of course their results were so much better than mine la. Hahahahaha. =)
Decisions I made yesterday has brought me to where I am today. Yes, I do regret some but there's nothing I can do to change things. But my Creator's grace is always sufficient for me.
And thank you Mom and Dad. For always being there for me like a parent, like a friend. And to all of you who've left something in my heart, I'll always remember. Even if you just walked past. =)
I am where I am today because of yesterday. I wouldn't change anything even if I were to start all over again.
Maybe a little la. Hehe.

Digital Camera
To those of you who don't know this, let me tell you.
I'm still using a 3.2 mega pixel digital camera.
Too shy to say it. Hehe. X)
I mean, who uses a 3.2 mp digital camera nowadays?? Even cellphone cameras today have higher pixels than my camera. Hahaha.
So I'm planning to get a new digital camera with my own blood & sweat. =) Well, not really rushing to get one; after all, my Nikon coolpix 3700's still working fine. =) But I've narrowed it down to either Olympus or Canon.

Injury
Had a game last night with ITE College East Singapore ladies' team. It started off pretty well in the first period but things got a little messy in the 2nd. As usual. We manage to put in 11 goals but careless enough to allow one into our net, making it 11-1 to us.
[ITE College & Penang Ladies' Team]
But it was a real good experience playing with the Penang girls once again after a long break. Compared to Sabah, the games in Penang are definitely faster and with more accuracy. Time to polish up myself. >< Oh ya, kena shot in the eye during the game. Ouch. She (the opponent) was much taller and "wider". And I was stupid enough to block her shots without covering my face. That's why lah kena hit in the eye. ><"
I'm so sorry people. Was supposed to post this a week ago. Hehe. So by the time you see this, my eye should have fully recovered. =) So no worries.
[Free eye shadow for the next one week. Hahaha!]

KL short trip
It was totally random. Discussed about it a day earlier, pack my bags that morning itself, and off we went, to Malaysia's busiest city. =)
Didn't do much there though. Visited relatives, took my first KTM ride to Mid Valley, did some shopping (which I bought nothing), but ATE ALOT!! X)
Intersting things about this trip:
1. Stopped at Tapah rest station, and guess what??
They have Dunkin Donuts!! We don't even have it in Penang but there's one at a rest stop!!><" So being a big fan of Dunkin/donuts... 2. Had a feeling I would meet somebody on the KTM; and true enough, I met a senior I haven't seen since high school!! Hahaha. Deja Vu. Ooooh. Creepy.
3. Had dinner with my aunt and her family at De Foodland, a famous seafood restaurant at Bandar Sri Menjalara. Two thumbs up for their dishes. Totally yummy!! =) I ate so much crabs, & accidentally cut my thumb! =( Consequences of being tam chiak! X)
Oh ya, not forgetting the finger-licking-good chicken wings and meat balls from IKEA! Yum...! We were too hungry that time so before I could take a picture of everything it's already gone. So, this is part of the leftovers. =P

By the way, love the Christmas tree in Mid Valley. So tall, so pretty. =)
