Battle Scar

I don't know if it's just me being clumsy, stupid or am I really fearless when blocking shots during Floorball, I somehow get injured in the face pretty often. Heh. Got shot in the eye back in 2009 and had a bruised right eye (free eye shadow YAYYYY!!!), then this happened on Saturday...

Hahahahaha. Yes you are right. It is really painful. Especially the bruise. It's still swollen today. The cut is recovering well though. :)

Got shot in the eye, wear protective glasses. Got whack in the chin, how now..? Follow Petr Cech's style perhaps..? Hahahaha.

All for the love of Floorball. Problematic right knee; had some problems with my right foot too (something is very wrong with the tendons or ligaments there); busted right wrist etc. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it. :/

Not-so-wise wisdom tooth

Do you peeps remember that I had a minor surgery last year in April? To take out a cyst behind my neck? Here's the post.
And guess what, this year's April is just equally painful. =(
I underwent a minor operation surgery to take out my wisdom tooth. I called it the radical tooth. 'Cause it has caused me so much trouble. =(

I was really, really scared prior to the surgery. Especially knowing that my parents won't be by my side. My heart was pounding like crazy, and I couldn't really sleep well the night before. I thought of a thousand reasons just to chicken out. But somehow in the morning, after waking up, I prayed, and God gave me this sense of peace and calmness in me that I just bathed, changed and went for it. 

There was fear. Oh yes there was.

But there was even a stronger peace in me over calming the fear. 

I guess many times, all we need is a small prayer and a little faith in God. And He can change everything. =)

I totally recommend Luyang Hospital (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) if you're having the same problem as I. Cheap and efficient. =) Just my opinion la. If you don't trust the government hospital, there's always those private blood sucking dental clinics. =) Hehe.

And I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends for their support, especially Jenn, Shawn and CK who were physically there with me, just to make sure I didn't pengsan, or run away. HAHA. And also to Jamie who cooked porridge for me! And my parents who constantly prayed for me. =)

Til then, take good care of your teeth so you don't have to go to the dentist so often, peeps! =)

Bye bye stitches

I went to the hospital to take off my stitches yesterday. And it didn't hurt at all!! =D
The nurse did it for me and I guess she's pretty good at it.
My wound's 80% recovered now.
Gotta thank my parents most 'cause they took care of my wound for me more than I did. Hehe. =)

7 stitches

Went for a minor surgery last night to remove a cyst from the back of my neck. One crazy experience! Haha. =)
And the doctor gave me 7 stitches!! =( So I assume that the wound's 1 inch long?
The cyst was the size of a small green pea though. Please don't stare at the picture too long later you geli. It didn't hurt too much la. A little of course, especially after the anesthetic's gone. But it was okay.
Felt abit cacat after the surgery 'cause I can't move my neck much. Haha.

But guess what, I'm gonna play floorball in Youthwave challenge tomorrow! Hahaha. Mom called me iron human (in hokkien). And she's right... I'm one with a heart as soft as marshmallow. XD

Injury

Had a game last night with ITE College East Singapore ladies' team. It started off pretty well in the first period but things got a little messy in the 2nd. As usual. We manage to put in 11 goals but careless enough to allow one into our net, making it 11-1 to us.

But it was a real good experience playing with the Penang girls once again after a long break. Compared to Sabah, the games in Penang are definitely faster and with more accuracy. Time to polish up myself. ><

Oh ya, kena shot in the eye during the game. Ouch. She (the opponent) was much taller and "wider". And I was stupid enough to block her shots without covering my face. That's why lah kena hit in the eye. ><"

I'm so sorry people. Was supposed to post this a week ago. Hehe. So by the time you see this, my eye should have fully recovered. =) So no worries.
