When I was a Kid... #004

... My mom used to tell me that if I swallow any seed, it would grow into a tree on my head. So I have always been very careful while eating anything with seeds. But there was once, I accidentally swallowed a dried pickled plum's seed, and I WAS SO FREAKING SCARED AND WORRIED!!!!! 

The first thing I did when I wake up every morning was to touch my head, look at the mirror, making sure there was no tree on my head, with ugly plums growing on it. And mom told me that lasted for a month. Thankyouverymuchforprankingmelikethis,mom.

HAHA. If it was true, I would have had watermelon, orange, grapes, plum, etc. growing on my head now. :D

When I was a Kid... #003

... I used to sit in front of the TV and talked to the news anchor.
'Cause they seem like they were talking to me, so I replied back. But they never really listened to me. They just keep talking and talking.

When I was a Kid... #002

... I wanted to be a firewoman. But being such a klutz, I thank God I am not one now.
I would have either burn myself to death, or tripped on some burning wood and cause the whole house to collapse and burn down quicker. Gah.

When I was a Kid... #001

... I actually thought aeroplanes dump or unload human sh*t and pee into the ocean when they fly across it.
But grew up to realize that by doing so, humans would be eating fish and prawns and clamps that eat human sh*t and pee. Errrr... Thank goodness my thoughts never came true.

Those were the days

How I miss those days when I love you and sorry were said without pride and ego holding me back;
and Goodnight wishes were something I would never miss saying to my parents;
I miss the days where my worst worry was "Will I wake up in time to watch Justice League?";
and when the only pieces I have in my closet were tshirts and my school uniform;
I miss waking up in the morning, excited to go to school;
and even after being scolded by teacher, I'd still be able to laugh about it when class's over;
I miss the times where I would hop into my daddy's boat and go fishing with him under the hot sun (he'll be fishing, I'll be scooping fish then. Hehe.);
And the way I would tip toe on his feet while we dance.
I miss swallowing 3 large McD fries without worrying about the extra fats & that my coach will kill me;
I miss the times where things were less complicated, and when people were more grateful.
I miss being myself without having to worry what the world thinks about me.
If only I could turn back time.

Those were the days

I still remember the cartoons that I used to watch when I was a little girl. =) Compared to the cartoons that my two baby cousins watch now such as Kim Possible, Ben10, Totally Spies, Powerpuff Girls... Mine was less violent, less action-packed, less anger and definitely taught me how to love, care, share and be compassionate. =)
