Can Or Not...

Hello there! :) It's been a month. I've been busy. Really really busy. :) Work mostly. I usually set New Year Resolutions but since the new year until now, I didn't really have time to think it through. Heh. Perhaps I should. And instead of making 30 resolutions, I should just focus on 10-15, and make it happen. :)

But as I plan ahead and think of all the things I need to do in 2014, I can't help but feel stressed.

Here's a list of things I need to do/manage within the first half year of 2014:
1. Sales sales sales. Almost got a heart attack when I saw my annual sales target.
2. Penang Women's Floorball League is starting this Saturday.
3. Penang Triathlon (23rd March 2014). Olympic distance 1.5+40+10. Kill me already.
4. Future planning. It's a mixed feeling of fear and excitement.
5. Bring my floorball girls down to Singapore for tournament/ friendly.
6. Prepare the ladies state team for Merdeka Cup.

6 is enough for now. Wanna cry liao. Hahaha. I don't dread all the above. In fact, I'm really excited about all of them. But there's always this slight doubt and fear bah. It makes me wonder if I really can handle all these. #gottahavefaith :)

Turning 27 in a month's time. :( Don't want can ah...? Don't want.

Flashback (Part 1)

Finallyyyyyyyy. I could finally sit in front of my computer and try to update this blog. Hehe.
Firstly, I have to apologize because the things that you're gonna read later are way overdue. But I thought they're worth sharing, so let's go all the way back to Christmas........

Christmas was pretty special this year for many reasons:

#1. It was the 3rd, and also the final "Christmas with the Community Event" by my church, Tabernacle of Priase, for now. :) Who knows we might do it again in the future? :)
I get to relax a little bit more this year as I have another 5 emcees running the whole event together with me. So I get to run around and go kaypo at what others are doing. Tsk. :P

I hope the 1600++ crowd were blessed through this event. I think the world has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas has become a reason for people to party, get drunk, exchange gifts (nothing wrong with this but it's not the core of Christmas), celebrate the existence of Santa Claus etc. But I hope through this event, they will be able to see the true meaning of Christmas - God's love. :)

#5. Last but not least, I get to spent quality time with my family this Christmas. Christmas has always been very busy for us and we never had the chance to "escape" the responsibilities given to us every Christmas. :P The same goes for this year. However, we took our chances and drove down to KL during the Christmas weekend.  :)

Mr. & Mrs. Harold Chung

This was supposed to be up a week ago but I have been superbly busy ever since I came back from Sabah. Heh. Sorry for the delay ah..:)
Yes. I flew to KK two weekends ago for Captain Awesome's brother's big day:
Harold and Doreen's wedding. :)

I missed the church wedding 'cause it was on a separate weekday, so I could only make it for the dinner. Nonetheless, it was full of surprises, with a crazy wedding entrance dance (exactly like the one I danced for Matthew and Madalen's wedding dinner), a very cute and funny video of Harold trying to save the world while his bride was anxiously waiting for him to get married LOL, and also a young band performing pretty good music.

The band was seated at our table and Captain Awesome told me that the lead guitarist kept staring at him. So I suspect that he's gay 'cause he had hair twice the length of mine, and he had mascara and eyeliner on, and earring on his right ear. But oh well..I wouldn't mind letting him feast his eye on Captain Awesome for a while 'cause he played good music. HAHAHA. :D

And the most epic part of the night is when I was mistaken as Captain Awesome's escort. WTH.
I think it's his aunty. She thought I was only 15 or 16 and thought Captain Awesome hired me to be his escort. WALAO. Pffffft. Captain Awesome felt super insulted, but for me...you gotta be really attractive and smart to be an escort right?? LOL. So I take it as a compliment. HAHAHA.

In the end, I was assigned to give out these roses, since Harold has already paid for it. Plus, it was only few days after Valentine's. So it'd be nice to give the ladies these roses. :)

I was in KK for barely 48 hours, and had to say goodbye dy. Sigh. But it's okay. I should be seeing him soon. Flew back to Penang early in the morning, and straight away head to Vistana Hotel for my company's annual dinner. I was in charge of the event and was also the emcee, so I had to be there by noon to make sure everything was alright and also for rehearsals.

Totally knocked out after I reach home. Tired. But it was all worth it. :))

Abandoned blog

My blog has been so abandoned la. I keep telling myself to post something at least once a week, but end up failing to do so. Sigh. I guess Facebook is partly at fault 'cause it's so much easier to post things on Facebook as compared to writing it here. =P Sorry Blogspot! Hehe.

Well, a little update on myself then. =) I've FINALLY finish my Degree in University. Phew. Time really flies. There goes my 4 years full of fun, excitement, friends, and all sorts of ups and down. If you ask me if I would still go to Sabah if I get to choose again, I would definitely say "Yes". =)

Anyway, after a two months rest, I started applying for jobs, and I just attended two interviews in the past 3 days. =) It was okay I guess. Still waiting for them to consider. But the funny thing I have to share here is the fact that, at the age of 2x (I'm soooo not gonna reveal my age LOL), my parents still follow me to my interviews. Hahahaha.

Of course I won't bring them up to the office, but it's funny to see how they're so excited for me as I seek for my first job. =) My dad keeps telling me this before I step out of the car: "No RM3k, no talk!" LOL. Then they ask if the company is legitimate; and ask me to bring pepper spray to the interview just in case..etc etc. Hahahahahaha.

PARENTS. You won't understand them until you're one yourself. I guess. =)

Blog comes to life!!

I know.. I know.. it's been a long while. =)
Let me see, 4 months?? No wonder I see spiderwebs all over my blog. HAHA. =)
I really miss blogging though. I've been too caught up with so many things that I totally neglected it. And guess what? I'm actually doing this in the midst of my exam period. Hehe.
Just sat for two major papers yesterday, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. Imagine that. =/ Didn't do too well though. Sigh..
But well, exams are about giving your best and leaving the rest to God. Because He knows your effort. =) CK told me that.

Alright..a little update about myself. =)
1. I'm still in KK, Sabah. The most beautiful place ever. Especially if you love beaches and chops (Lamb chop, chicken chop, pork chop, cat chop..Oooops. Hehe. No cats. No cats.)

2. Still crazy over floorball. It is off season currently. We just finished our Nomad League as 1st runner ups. But I believe Nomad will keep on fighting and gold shall be ours next year. =)
So since it's off season, Coach Shawn has been treating us with very NICE killers every week. I had to walk like a penguin every time training ends. I call them tofu legs now. =)

3. My house has a new cat! Pretty cute. We all thought it was a she but it was actually a he. Now I know why it likes me so much. =P

4. I've been using alot of "LOL" lately instead of my usual "Hahahaha". What's happening to me. =]

5. Did my performance for the very last time in university. I am very sure it's the last time. And it was great. =) Ahhh..memories.

Went down to the Land of padi fields on Labour's Day. It's nothing like Penang. It's way greener there with lots of padi field and trees and sugar cane and rubber trees and etc.

Drove down to Cameron with Karyee on one of the weekends. One crazy trip. 'Cause my car broke down half way. Radiator problem. Urghhh.
But oh well, the rest of it was awesome. =) Great weather. Good food & accommodation. Totally fun. =)
